Dean has been a dedicated pig hunter for most of his life. He raised his kids in the bush doing exactly that, and they’re still at it today — the whole family share a deep passion for hunting and fishing.
This 179 lb boar was caught in Dunedin Forest. Dean’s dogs were on the find for a couple of hours before the boar made one critical mistake — crossing a skid site in the open. Once the whole Boar Gang arrived, it was over.
